Resetting + Manual Formatting of Nokia Symbian Phones

1. To reset any Nokia s60 symbian phone to original settings dial *#7780# This code restores ini files from r0m but preserves user data(photos, contacts,3rd party apps,etc)

2. Manual flashing/Formatting code dial *#7370# This code reformats completely the C: drive. All applications, files and contacts stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten.


                                         In the both case, the phone will ask u confirmation and u'll enter the security code of ur phone(12345 by default).

For s60v2 users, If u ve changed the default & have 4gotten ur security code, don't worry. Use UnlockMe to detect the current security code in use.

If u encounter situation like:

1. Blank screen phone unable to reboot.

2. Phone only able to boot-up to "NOKIA" word screen.

3. Install some program but unable to uninstall it after that(or virus attack).

4. Unable to delete unwanted files on C: drive

Here's a s0lution...

DO A FULL PHONE FORMATTING:

1. Switch-off the phone.

2. Press and hold these three keys: Green(dial)key, *(star)key, and 3. Still holding the keys, press the power key ON/OFF to switch ON the phone

Do n0t leave the three press and hold keys.

3. After a few seconds of switching On the phone, release the three keys(before it shows the nokia greeting hands) and the phone will be back to original system & factory settings. The security code will return to default(12345).

** For Nokia 5800:

press and hold these keys at once;
Red(end)key, Green(call)key, and Phone camera button and Switch ON the phone.


** For N97:

press and hold Shift Keys, Space bar and Backshift then turn ON the phone.
